Meet the Foresters
Eric Yarnell founded Yarnell Forestry Consulting, LLC in Marshfield, Missouri in 2011. He is an SAF Certified Forester and an ISA Certified Arborist, as well as a member of the Missouri Consulting Foresters Association, Society of American Foresters, International Society of Arboriculture, and Missouri Forest Products Association. Eric graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in forestry with an emphasis on resource management. Prior to starting his own business Eric worked as a utility forester in St. Louis county, Missouri.
Eric grew up on a small farm in Taney County (near Branson), Missouri with his parents and three brothers. While there he cultivated a great love for the outdoors through hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. During his sophomore year of high school, Eric became involved with the FFA forestry career development event and did quite well, placing first in state individually. More importantly than that, he discovered a passion for forest management and decided to pursue a career in forestry. Eric now resides in Marshfield with his lovely wife, Shawn and their three children, Jonah, Lydia, and Joel.
